All submitted manuscripts to Biociências will be sent to peer reviewers, unless they are either out of scope or below threshold for the journal, or the presentation or written English is of an unacceptably low standard. They will generally be reviewed by at least three experts with the aim of reaching a first decision as soon as possible. These reviewers are experts in their field of study, who will be able to provide an objective assessment of the manuscript. Once a manuscripy is accepted, it is published in Biociências site immediately as a PDF file. The paper will subsequently be published in both fully browseable web form, and as a formatted PDF. |
